I have been trying to codify some sort connection between the various facets that are present in the artifact, and it’s place in the world at any given time. There a bunch of factors at play as shown in the Venn diagram above. Moving down from a macro view of the entire world and public space we can see some pertinent issues:

-The actual room that the object is placed in
-The state of mind that the user arrives with
-The choice of music that the user plays to enhance or alleviate his or her mood
-The cognitive load presented by the object’s interface
-The presence of others in the choice of music
-The historical precedent as revealed by the interface

This will need to be a series of investigations in order to tease true insight, and then connectivity and inherent meaning……
