In 2010 I was asked to provide a design for the engineers from Oracle Racing Yachts.  They desired a large mobile touchscreen that they could use to bring up engineering drawings and data ‘live’ as they were building their racing yachts now being raced in the Americas Cup.  In the end, the system proved to be a little expensive for the limited production run, but the design is still valid.

The movable table can be adjusted and consists of a short throw projector that is aim upwards at a glass panel.  The panel is treated with holoscreen on the bottom to illuminate the image, and there is a sheet of touchscreen material on the topside with the control points hidden within the side frames.
