This website is a repository of work primarily involved with acoustic engineering, audio electronics, industrial design, UX and interaction design.
Much of the of work constitutes my Masters of Design, and my final undergraduate project.
My Masters work was focused on creating a new kind of media player interface that is based on subconscious, abstracted forms associated with music that are universal to everyone. The actual output of the interface is electromagnetically controlled ferrous powder, controlled by a grid of digitally controlled electromagnets.
I also record my audio-based experiments here. I have designed, built and tested many pieces of audio hardware over the 25 years that I have been engaged within this field. I have experience with both vacuum tube and transistor based electronics (phonostages, DACs, I/V conversion, pre & power amplification), as well as loudspeakers.
Minor projects and concepts are also published as thought exercises.
I hesitate to upload work that I consider proprietary, personally valuable in my future, or a protected under NDA, so many of delicate parts are intentionally absented.
